Touch screen is a human machine interface device
combining with electronic displays and software, allowing operator to
interact with display machine by touching pictures or words on the screen.
Touch screen consists of top ITO film layer and bottom ITO film/glass
layer separated by insulation spacers. Both ITO film and glass have a
very thin conductive and metallic ITO layer coated on the PET film or
glass. An electrical current runs through two layers while the display
system is working. When user touches the screen, the two layers make contact
in that location. The change in the electrical field is sent to the controller,
which will calculate the location of the touch point.
